About this product
This Ninja Professional Plus Food Processor offers 1000 peak watts and a 72-ounce (9-cup) bowl capacity. It includes 4 functions for chopping, slicing, shredding, and pureeing, with 3 speeds and a programmable feature. The stainless steel blades and plastic material are dishwasher safe. The unit weighs 7.65 pounds and measures 7.76"D x 9.88"W x 16.02"H. It comes in grey and operates on 120 volts via an AC adapter.
Our take
The Ninja Professional Plus is a capable workhorse for everyday prep. The 1000-watt motor makes quick work of veggies and nuts. The 9-cup bowl is roomy enough for most recipes, and the programmable function is a nice touch. On the downside, the plastic construction feels a bit lacking for the price, and the 3-speed dial is less versatile than I'd like. It's also on the larger side, so counter space is a factor. Dishwasher-safe parts simplify cleanup. For $233, it's a solid performer but not exceptional.
